Our Vision

Preventive rural healthcare, care for elders and enhance rural education.

Few founder Trustees of Nachandupatti Social Welfare Foundation initiated a project called “Nal Vazhvu Maiyam” way back 2010 in Nachandupatti along with few other like minded souls. The group identified the biggest challenge for elders in Nachandupatti is cooking food at home or hiring some one to cook for them. Hence decided to create a community kitchen and deliver freshly cooked all three meals at their door steps every day. While interacting with the elders in the region we realised that they are missing two other important things. One is the love and care from their children and basic healthcare on day to day basis. Elder care will be incomplete if we don’t address their basic healthcare needs.

We thought it is imperative to find a solution to this basic issues of elders in a small way. Thus NSWF (Nachandupatti Social Welfare Foundation) was born with the support of few like minded people. We realise how fortunate we are in this birth to get all our needs like Love and affection, healthy food, great knowledge and world class healthcare. Our vision is to create such opportunities to the rural people especially elders and share our God given knowledge to guide their lifestyle to a reasonable level with simple efforts. Our Vision includes to motivate people from all walks of life to taste a bit of “Joy of Giving” as we believe to help other one needs the “WILL” and not the “MEANS”. Our Vision is to encourage youngsters across globe to involve and participate in this noble cause in a small way and follow the footsteps of our ancestors.
